In line with the Constitution, the Selection Committee shall consist of the Captain and the Vice-Captains who will be solely responsible for team selection. Members must notify the Captain/Vice-Captains of their availability no later than 9.30 p.m. on the Tuesday prior to the weekend fixtures.

Teams will normally be selected on Thursday evenings and members who have declared their availability should ring The Cock (01474 814208) after 9.30 p.m. on Thursdays to confirm selection.
Please assist the Captain/Vice-Captains by being pro-active in making contact with them.

The Selection Committee shall be empowered not to select a member whose annual subscription is overdue or who is otherwise in debt to the Club, e.g. failure to pay match fees. The Selection Committee will endeavour to ensure that each paid-up member of the Club who has made himself available for selection shall be selected to play at least one game per weekend. However, exceptions may occur when circumstances dictate, for example when it is deemed necessary to select the strongest available side to play in a decisive league fixture (in terms of promotion or relegation) or cup game.
